We are attempting to list all of our 50,000+ books online with scans of the cover page. If a book only lists the stock scan please email myparentscomics@cox.net for the actual scanned picture of the book. We limit all scan request to 5 detailed scans. Purchase Procedures If you wish to purchase a book found on this site click on the Buy Now button to be connected to our PayPal shopping cart. Upon a successful purchase you will receive an invoice sent to your email address entered on the shopping cart form and we will be notified that you have purchased the book/books. We will ship all books out within 3 business days of confirming a successful payment. If you wish to purchase books and pay by a different method please contact myparentscomics@cox.net for details. Availability We are selling books off of this website and through ebay. Due to the shear volume of books we have we cannot guarantee that if a book is listed on this site it is still available. We make every attempt to keep the database updated with our current inventory. If for some reason a book is listed on this site and has already sold you will be notified to your email address listed on your purchase request form and your purchase price fully refunded. Payment Methods We accept Paypal (Paypal preferred), cashiers check/money orders as well as personal checks. All books can be purchased online through our Paypal shopping cart. If you wish to pay by cashiers check/money order or personal check please contact myparentscomics@cox.net. Please note all prices are in U.S. Currency. Shipping and handling are not included in the listed price. Shipping All orders are shipped United States Postal Service Priority Mail. A flat rate of $5.00 US will be added to each order for packaging and shipping. If you are purchasing multiple books you may combine up to 5 books per $5 shipping charge. All books are shipped in reinforced cardboard comic book shipping containers and sent in USPS priority mail envelopes. Return Policy We want our buyers to be satisfied. If there is ever a problem, we will gladly try to resolve it or take the product back for a refund minus shipping charges. Questions and Answers Q. What methods of shipping do you use to ship your comic books? A. All orders are shipped via United States Postal Service Priority Mail or Global Priority Mail. That will depend on the postal service and our internal delivery time. We try and ship all Internet orders within 24-48 hours. Once your package leaves our location, it generally takes 3 to 5 and in some cases, 10 days for delivery (depending on the time of year, ex. Christmas). For International shipping orders it is more difficult to gauge shipping time. International delivery times can vary widely depending on location. ******************* Correspondence Q. What is your system of grading comics? A. Please view our Grading / Rating / Pricing form. Q. What is your grading scale based on? A. We grade and price our books based on the current Overstreet Comic Book Price guide. The grades and corresponding grade numbers are listed below.
******************* Returns Q. What if I'm not happy with my order? A. Any comic book order, or part of any order of comic books can be returned if you are not totally satisfied. If a comic book has been misgraded we will either compensate you for the difference in grade, or to try to provide you with a replacement. We do not accept any responsibility for the story content of comic books we sell. In regards to the you personally disliking the story line or artwork within the comic books you purchase from My Parents Comics, we accept no responsibility for the publishers or how they printed their comic books. If we make an error in grading, we will fix it to the best of our ability. Otherwise, we accept no returns of comic books or offer no guarantee of our comic books after an order has been delivered to you. ******************* Q. How can I get a refund if I don't want the comic books I received? A. If you are not happy with the comic books you receive from us, we ask (within a ten day period) that you return them to us in the same manner and quality that you received them from us. We will refund the total cost of the comic book minus the shipping costs. ******************* Inventory/Web Site Q. Why is it when I search for Spiderman, the query results show that there are none? A. Our system lists all these titles as Spider-man (with a hyphen). Similarly, it is X-men.. ******************* Q. How accurate is your inventory of comic books? A. About 90% of our comic book inventory are "Silver Age" issues. Many are "one of a kind". We are continually auditing our procedures of keeping an "actual count" versus what shows up in our computer database inventory in order to keep the inventory inaccuracies to a minimum. For best results on comic books listed on this web site Email us and we will physically check and pull from our inventory to hold aside for you, to be sure that the issues you are seeking are actually still available. *******************Q. How long can you hold a comic book for me? A. Once we pull a comic book/s from our inventory for you, we will scan, grade and price the specific comic book/s. We will Email you a composite of the scan, grade and price. We are allowing three days (72 hours) for you to decide on whether you want to purchase it or we put it back into our inventory. |
